The region of the Península do Maraú is located on the southern coast of Bahia, 2h away from Ilhéus Airport. The area invites you to wander through a landscape rich in tropical beauty and coastal diversity. Days are warm and bright, and the local culture encourages slow exploration and connection with nature. Coconut forests, stretches of “restinga” vegetation, freshwater lagoons, and calm mangrove channels guide you toward the peninsula’s stunning Atlantic coastline.

Our Home is nestled in a peaceful corner of the Península de Maraú, just a short walk from one of the region’s most beautiful and quiet beaches, surrounded by lush nature and sandy coastal trails. From our backyard, you can step directly into the ocean, where coconut-framed shores invite refreshing morning swims and dreamy sunset dips. Scenic walking paths and bike-friendly routes weave through the area, all just minutes away.
The surrounding community carries a naturally holistic and eco-minded spirit. The village is simple and small, with a few artisan and conscious eateries, and people who embrace slow living, sustainability, and well-being. We are located right beside Cassange Beach, one of the hidden gems of the Península de Maraú — a long, quiet stretch of golden sand lined with coconut trees and shaped by powerful Atlantic waves. Just behind the dunes lies the stunning Cassange Lagoon, a large freshwater lake with warm, tranquil waters ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, or watching unforgettable sunsets mirrored on its glassy surface. This rare contrast between the ocean’s force and the lagoon’s calm, only a few steps apart, creates a peaceful and almost untouched atmosphere, making Cassange an ideal refuge for those seeking nature, silence, and a slower rhythm of life.
