PRIYAL
Co-Founder
The enthusiastic Founder and CEO of Surf & Yoga Retreats is an adventurous surfer. He started following is dream and passion of creating a community for surfers & yogis at a very early age. His lifelong love affair with surfing kicked off in the south of Sri Lanka. He has always felt at home in the deep blue. Priyal launched his first surf school in 2012 and his Surf & Yoga camp in 2016 with passion and love. Catch up with him for a talk at one of our retreats!
Carolina
Co-Founder & Manager, Yoga Teacher
A flowy wanderer that found in surfing the courage to explore the world and its waters. Along her journeys, Carolina realized the deep connection Yoga has with “dancing in the waves” of the Ocean — and of Life itself. After traveling and studying in Asia, she returns to her home-land to co-found Surf&Yoga in her favorite piece of the country: Bahia.
Beyond yoga and surfing, Carolina is passionate about healing therapies and artistic practices – which she sees as beautiful pathways to self-discovery and wellbeing. She will be warmly welcoming you in Brazil — in the Ocean, in the Shala, or somewhere out in nature.
Theresa
Co-Founder, Yoga Teacher,

Theresa is an ocean lover since she can think and passionate world traveler ‚following the sun’. On this journey, life brought her to Surf & Yoga Retreats, where she fell in love with the spirit.
She is combining her passion and values of a holistic life as a Yoga Teacher – organizing and hosting Retreats around the the world with her projects of soulful content & consulting.
On the mat Theresa is redefining advanced Yoga new – where she teaches you to find balance within rather than standing upside down, where meditation can be dynamic and where you are able to slow down while flowing.
GRACE
Yoga Teacher, Foodie, Photographer
Gracey is a yoga guide, creative, and food lover with a background in hospitality and wellbeing. Her journey has taken her across the world — through retreat spaces, surf towns, kitchens, and yoga shalas — always drawn to places that invite people to slow down, reconnect and truly feel alive. Breathing, moving, being.
Gracey’s approach is grounded, soulful, and human — shaped by her own path of healing, self-inquiry, and learning how to live with more presence, perspective and love.
She believes the most meaningful experiences happen when we soften, listen, and allow ourselves to be moved by the rhythm of nature, community, and the bod.
Daniela
Yoga Teacher
Daniela swapped her philosophy professor life in Chile for a one-way ticket to India — and found her true calling on a yoga mat in Varkala. After completing her 500-hour training in the birthplace of yoga, she’s been teaching her way across the world.
A dedicated Vipassana practitioner with over 200 hours of silent meditation under her belt, Daniela brings depth and presence to her classes. She loves creating flows that help students reconnect with their bodies, calm their minds, and remember that yoga is so much more than poses.
When she’s not guiding classes or sitting in meditation, you’ll find her sunbathing, trying a new dish, or sharing coffee with new friends. She’s thrilled to be part of the Surf n Yoga Brazil family, where her two great loves — movement and the ocean — come together perfectly.
Lilly
Yoga Teacher, Masseuse
Lilly is a movement lover. She has been studying physiotherapy and sport science. She loves to share her knowledge of the human body and combine it with her passion for guiding people in a way that helps them to get the most out of each asana. Her style of teaching is alignment focused and needs/setting-based, either helping people to recover or train their body and their mind.
She has always been dreaming of a life at the sea, with surf, sun, bonfires, guitar music and collecting moments with like-minded souls. Now she is living the dream traveling Latin America chasing the waves, the sun and connecting with others by land or by sea.
Frida
The Dog
Meet Frida, the sweet and joyful guardian of the camp. Her biggest passion? Playing with the ball — she’ll be in heaven if you join her to play! Rescued from the streets, she can be shy and cautious when meeting new people, but you can trust her to be the kindest being around. If you’re uncomfortable with dogs, just let us know, and we’ll make sure she keeps her distance during your stay.
